1 Day:
Accommodation in hotel in the picturesque Lake Garda,
the largest of the Italian lakes, lying between the Alps and
the the Po valley. Visit of the Lake. Dinner and overnight.
2 Day:
Departure to the romantic Venice. Built on 117 small
islands it has some 150 canals and 409 bridges. Half a day
guided visit : St. Mark's Square, the Basilica, the Belltower
and the Doges Palace. The afternoon is at your disposal for
further visits, shopping or for a gondola ride. Dinner and
overnight in hotel in Lido di Jesolo, a lovely beach
resort located near Venice.
3 Day:
Departure for Florence, the most active centre of the
Renaissance period. Guided visit of the historical centre:
the multicoloured Duomo with its high Campanile, the octagonal
structure of the marble-clad Baptistry, the medieval shop-lined
Ponte Vecchio. Then continue to Pisa to see the famous
Leaning Tower. Accommodation in hotel in Montecatini
area, dinner and overnight.
4 Day:
Departure for Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Visit
of this typical medieval town, with the beautiful square Piazza
del Campo. The province of Siena is famous for its great
wines such as Chianti and Brunello. You can taste them in
the nice village of S. Gimignano, the town famous for
its many towers and turreted houses. Accommodation in hotel
in Chianciano Terme. Dinner and overnight.
5 Day:
Departure for Rome, the capital of Italy There is more
to see here than in any other city in the world. In the afternoon,
guided city tour including Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna,
Trinità dei Monti. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight.
6 Day:
In the morning, guided visit of Antique Rome: Piazza
Venezia, the Campidoglio, the Colliseum, the Roman Forum.
In the afternoon, continue the tour with Catholic Rome:
the Vatican with St Peter's Square, the Basilica and St. John
Lateran. Dinner and overnight.
7 Day
Departure to Assisi, a well known town thanks to St.
Francis, Italy's premier Saint. The guided tour includes also
the visit of the Basilica of St. Francis. Assisi is located
in Umbria region, also called "the green heart of Italy".
Continuing to Perugia and visit of it,one of Italy's
best-preserved medieval hill towns. Another plus is the presence
of the Italian University for foreigners. Hotel accommodation
in Rimini or surroundings, on the Adriatic Coast. This
area is famous for its long sandy beaches. Dinner and overnigt.
8 Day:
In the morning visit of the Republic of San Marino,
the smallest republic of the world (61-sq-km). Visit of the
historial centre with its narrow streets and old medieval
walls. You can take pictures of the Republic's soldiers, buy
local coinage, send mail and postcards with the beautiful
San Marino stamps and enjoy a spectacular view all around.
Departure to Milan. Dinner and overnight.
9 Day:
In the morning guided city tour of Milan: the Duomo,
the symbol of the town, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and
the Scala Theatre. Milan is also the capital of the Italian
Fashion, with its elegant boutiques and world-famous designer
stores.
