A journey inside the Piedmont, between fertile plains, rolling hills, harsh rugged mountains and castles.
The best season for discovering the secrets of Piedmont at table is undoubtedly autumn. This is the perfect time of year to enjoy wine and truffles, two of the mainstays of the region’s culinary tradition. Piedmont has been a centre of viticulture since time immemorial. Its leading products have been appreciated the world over: from the sumptuous and sough-after reds (Barolo, Barbaresco, Gattinara, Barbera) and whites (Roero, Gavi, Cortese), to its sweet and inviting dessert and conversation wines (Asti Spumante, Brachetto, Moscato d’Asti, Malvasia).
